Gamma Mu Visits Sarasota for Gulfcoast Pride

We are thrilled to welcome Gamma Mu, a prestigious social and fraternal organization for professional gay men, to Sarasota for the 2024 Gulfcoast Pride celebrations! Gamma Mu is celebrating its 57th year as the nation’s leading organization of its kind, with over 600 members worldwide. Founded on the principle of bringing together "people who enjoy people," Gamma Mu has built a lasting legacy of international friendships and professional camaraderie.

Each year, Gamma Mu hosts two major "Fly-Ins" — exclusive five-day events organized in cities across the U.S. and abroad. This year, Sarasota is one of the lucky cities hosting a group of Gamma Mu members, offering us the opportunity to showcase the vibrant and diverse LGBTQ+ culture of the Gulfcoast.

From young professionals leading the way in their fields to seasoned executives from top companies, Gamma Mu’s members span a broad spectrum of talent, philanthropy, and community engagement. The group’s mission is not only social but charitable; since 1988, the Gamma Mu Foundation has awarded nearly $3 million in grants and scholarships, focusing on rural America and initiatives that promote diversity and tolerance.

In anticipation of their visit for Gulfcoast Pride, we’re working to make their experience in Sarasota unforgettable! If you’re a local business owner, we invite you to contribute by offering coupons or items to be included in their arrival gift bags. This is a fantastic opportunity to introduce your business to a group of professionals with diverse interests and a love for travel. If you’re interested, please reach out to us at admin@ppsrq.org.

We’re excited to show the best of Sarasota to Gamma Mu and hope the local community will come together to extend a warm and welcoming hand to this extraordinary group. Let’s make Gulfcoast Pride 2024 one for the books! 🌈
